Many hours on a borrowed die cutter for all the leaves on this one and a fast photoshoot for the annual calander I do of the kids. Miss A, bless her cotton socks, drove over from the farm for a 30 mins sprint on the camera before heading back over the hill to go to work. Luckily for me, the kids are so practised with the camera, we had the shots in the bag in record time.

hiatus and fun fun fun

I'm back. There's been a lot going on in the last 6 months or so, but safe to say, I've never been happier. Free and living the dream with a sea change. I hear the ocean when I go to bed at night, I wake up with a sea breeze at my front door. I walk with the beach under my bare feet and I'm breathing in the sweet smell of living the single life. I'm also back on the scrap wagon. I've not been in the right frame of mind to be creative, but now the itch is back.

His version of the 8cms in 8 mths. I've used a combination of Vicki Boutin Let's Wander Mixed Media background paper, Shimelle Laine Field Trip - Measure Up and Cocoa Vanilla Sunkissed for this one. The three collections work well together.

Many moons ago I was given a pack of coloured vellums which I've used a bit on this LO. A scraplift inspired by Pam Baldwin on Studio Calico.

The border punches saw the light of day with this one. Its a scraplift of someone's that I'm unable to find atm to give them the credit due. I used up heaps of scraps and love the textures within this one.

I found it amazing how fast S has grown, but I didn't know he'd grown that much in 8 months. Thank goodness for photos to be able to record the milestone of shooting up past his sister who he has looked up to all his life. She's not impressed that she now has to look up to him lol. Trinity Craft Weekend

Home from a sensational weekend away by the sea surrounded by love, laughter, craft and infused with gin with a bit of scrapbooking on the side. Time well spent with beautiful souls to disconnect from the real world and reconnecting with those I've not seen for a while.

Repurposing the rainbow acetate cover from Vicki Boutin's foundation papers was the jump off point for this LO. I found the little chip monkey in my stash which was perfect embelly as well as the little rainbow stripe flair button.

A puddle was too good a chance to pass up for a photo with the sax. We live on a farm so playing it loud was totally an option. LO 100% inspired by ScrappyCat Josefine using the gorgeous These Days collection from Cocoa Vanilla.
