clowning around

www.facebook.com/TiffFirthPhotography
Clowning around with the kids for a selfie photoshoot. I had the camera on a tripod, the couch on the lawn and the sky very kindly was going off for us. One of the kids had a remote trigger to trip the shutter. 10 mins and I had a bunch of pics that I love, family shots that I'm in as well, and the kids took control. Gotta love that.

stealing a moment of peace

Stealing a moment of peace
https://www.facebook.com/TiffFirthPhotography
Tumby Bay is a laid back coastal town on Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Its not caught up in the social whirlwind of seen and being seen. Tumby Bay is much more about taking your time, really disconnecting with the world and soaking up summer on your terms.
Tumby stole our heart as a family a long time ago and that'
s where we go to find our peace and tranquility.

summer storm - tumby bay

Summer Storm over Tumby Bay
Back in January a very windy front passed over Eyre Peninsula. The roof of the Cleve Sports Club was blown off, it was that windy!

The sunset over Tumby Bay was definitely brewing for something impressive. Before the rain and wind arrived later that evening, the night sky was alive with sheets and bolts of lightning. I ran inside with my gear when I was shooting the lightning as the first few drops of very heavy drops started, and then it was chaos. The wind arrived with ferocity and the rain was torrential. I was only inside by a few seconds when it all hit. Thank goodness for that.

collaboration project

Back in December I worked closely with our local John Deere branch, Pringles Crouch Ag Plus on a project for their clients who had recently bought new implements prior to the 2015 harvest.  I wasn't allowed to allude to what the end result was with the clients as it was a surprise for them, but I was in full knowledge of the project so I could shoot for the best result.

So as of last week a series of four stills became available for their clients to choose their favorite bar fridge.

And also as of last week there are now two more available with their newly released dual wheel tractor and self-propelled spray rig.

To say I'm more than thrilled with the whole project is an understatement, and I'd really like to thank Jill Wedd for her vision for this to happen.
