super dad ... peek
I'm home and what a huge week its been. And I'm no sooner in the door and I'm stepping out again. First Aid training tomorrow. 2 photo shoots this week, a trip to Port Lincoln, help the pack up the gym club working bee and off to Pirie for Sean's Gym Comp.
I've had a number of scrappy commitments that have been hanging over me, so I'm glad to get one done and dusted with all paperwork attached.
Yay. Go me ;)

for your info...
I'm out of 'office' for a week.
I've been so very very very keen for this week to happen. Long days ahead learning a bunch of new tricks from the best in the business. Felix Hug. John White. Rob Lang.
Love. my. Life.

fun run
The School had a fun run today to raise funds to purchase items for the student body. 2pm was kick off and they got back just as the skies opened up.
I started off shooting a few pics with Sean's and Annie's classes (can't show them on here) and drove to strategic sites on their route to get a few of the antics along the way. Keep an eye on the school newsletter next week, and the school magazine at the end of the year. :) Some of those older boys are absolute crack ups.
I did manage to snap one of Sean on his own and Annie on her own so I can share that them here.

His route I reckon was about 2.5kms long and 4kms long for hers. Good healthy fun.

mum and the boys
This family was awesome to shoot. Fun with a capital F!!! They got into the fun side of it straight up. Lots of hamming it up for the camera in between one location and the next. And its just brilliant that the Dad leads the way in the fun.

43
So toady was September 13th. And it's Black Friday. And I'm now 43 years young.
I've had a looonger lunch with my besties and I swear that the seat imprint is still on my bum. I've had an overwhelming number of well wishes from Facebook Friends.
But the best thing of all was when Sean was telling me he didn't know how to wrap up a hug in paper so he thought he just give me a big squeezy one instead. He just about made me cry.
And at the end of the day I didn't even take one photo of it to remember it by. Unheard of!!!! Praps Alzheimers is setting in lol

legs 11
and she really is all legs. She nearly taller than me (that's not that hard lol). She's fits into womens size 6 jeans just for the length factor. The waist line it still way too large tho. She wears my Rossi Size 4 work boots. I do believe some may come for her for Christmas so I can get a chance to wear my own lol.
She has been really keen about the idea of earrings for a while so this is what we gifted her today. She was super excited before hand, and a tiny bit apprehensive just moments before. But it was all done in a blink and she had the biggest smile. Every mirror is in danger of her preening in front of it, checking out her bling.
Happy Birthday sweet thing. Your smile dazzles me, your generous heart fill my soul, and you rock my world.

family of four funday
To say I've been busy on the camera of late is a gross understatement! But I do choose to be this busy this time of year when spring has sprung and the flowers are out. It really is heaven on a stick!
I had this family visit me recently for their photoshoot. Gosh we had fun. I've known the kids for a while so they were at ease with me and the camera straight up. Gotta love that.
This last one is my favourite from the shoot. So much fun and totally spontaneous.
More images from this shoot here at Tiff Firth Photography on Facebook.
I've had another 2 family shoots since then, 3 commercial shoots and have more appointments on my book. Bring it on!

rsl medals
After asking the owner of these war medals if I was able to photograph them, he rang me today to let me know what each one represented. So with his kind permission I can post this image and explain each one. L-R

Marble Soldier unveiled
www.facebook.com/TiffFirthPhotography
The Marble Soldier was unveiled at The Gardens of Remembrance in Cummins today. The life size WWII New Guinea digger in battle gear tops the 2 metre tall black granite plinth and it now completes the extensive renovations undertaken by the Cummins Yeelanna RSL. Its wonderful to see the 7 years of planning come to reality.

ramsey bros
The camera has been working overtime of late. :)
This last week saw 2 family shoots and 2 commercial shoots. I've another 2 family shoots this weekend and one next weekend.
I was a bit revved up after this shoot at 8am Wednesday morning. I had 2x Case IH 7230 Harvesters
2x Case IH 9230 Dual Wheel Harvesters. Case IH 340 Dual Wheel Tractor. Case IH 260 Tractor. Case IH 165 Tractor. 16 staff and the workshop dog (all obviously not in this image)
Tiff Firth Photography up in a cherry picker. I'd like to have had further to pull back to get the outside harvesters but the flag poles started to encroach into the frame.
Multi million dollar shot

father's day 2013
Lazy pancake breakfast, the giving of the handmade cards the kids made and a lazy morning just chillin'. Annie even played him a song on her sax that she had composed just for him.
Then a trip up to North Block with my Dad and Jane to have a picnic lunch, shoot the breeze and release bubbles out over the world. 3 hours there just disappeared too quickly.
Back to home to have friends join us for a late afternoon photoshoot and stay for a BBQ tea, topped off by strawberries dipped into Fondue chocolate.
Lovely day all round surrounded by family and friends. Life is good.
