2010

Sometimes when I have a photo that's an important one that has both the kids in it, I'll do two layouts. A his and a hers.  It's rarely that I scrap them twice exactly the same way.

This one is such a case. This one is for him. I don't mind adding flowers to a boys page. It doesn't bother him (I've asked) so that's fine by me.

The rings of twine are actually brown paper bag handles that I've twisted up and stapled together.

The strips of washi tape as a background was inspired by my wonderful and very dear friend, Janice Nicholls. With the subtle maroon watercolour I mixed a fabric dye, some glimmermist and a tiny bit of gelato. I've bottled the brew for future LO's from this same photo shoot.

Layout number 4 from the recent Escape2Create scrapbooking retreat.
