shoe tree

I wondered if anyone has noticed how much our shoe tree has grown in the last 2 years.  I was driving past it a couple of weeks ago and noticed that someone had slashed the ropes the shoes were tied to and they were all scattered on the ground. I was a bit upset by this, but not enough to do something about it.

Well, someone DID do something about it. All the shoes have been retied on the branches with a new system of attachment to spread them out. It looks so much better now, and now you can really see how many shoes are there.
